Application Note
Cage Nuts is a smart way for quickly remove stripped screws in a rack cabinet. If you have used tap screws before, you know that it is quiet easy to strip a screw. If the screw is stripped or the mounting hole is damaged, you will not be able to use that mounting hole unless you replaced the rack rail.
On the other hand, if you are using a cage nut system, you can simply detach the damaged cage nut and replace it. Cage nut is a cost effective way to ensure usability of your rack cabinet.
