What is ColoBlade™? ColoBlade™ is the new generation of server platform. It offers the same functionality and reliability as our ColoMachine servers. It uses the same processor, the same memory, and the same motherboard. The power consumption also remains the same. The only differences between ColoBlade™ and ColoMachine servers are the racks pace and manageability.

The ColoBlade™ PC Blade servers can save you up to 20% in operational cost. Its design allows you to install up to 10 PC Blade servers in an 8U rack space area. That is two extra servers compare to the standard 1U servers occupied in the same amount of rack space. In addition, ColoBlade™ is a much better long-term technology investment than a proprietary blade system. It uses standard ATX or mATX motherboard so you won’t out grow the blade platform as you do with traditional blade platform.

ColoBlade™ PC Blade servers are very easy to install and maintenance. It takes a minute or two to remove one of the PC blades for service. The reduction in service time also means reduction in system down time and increasing in profitability.

The ColoBlade™ CB103 PC Blade server is based on the Gigabyte 8i865GMK-775 microATX motherboard. It comes with an Intel Pentium 4 3.0 Ghz Processor with 1Mb Level 2 Cache Memory with a 800MHz system bus, a high performance 1 Giga Byte DDR-400 Non-ECC memory modules and a 80GB 7200 RPM IDE Hard Drive with 2 Mega Byte Cache memory. In addition, the ColoBlade™ PC Blade server uses innovative thermal cooling design to keep the CPU core temperature running cool.
